Hi guys,

I am using a M100 and RealPresence Desktop 3.0 client on a Windows 8 machine (Pentium D 3.2GHz with 2GB mem).

The CPU is idle 7-8% but when I start a videocall both clients (I've tested both) raises my CPU to 99% wich causes freezing video. Only the audio performs.

It's not a bandwidth problem because I have a 100MB internet line.

Any ideas? In my opinion it performed better under W7. I also used the compatibility option for both programs but without luck.

Hello GvHemert,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The M100 release notes => here <= do not state any windows 8 support.

The RPD application, according to the release notes => here <=, does support Windows 8 but requires a minimum of 4 GB Ram.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
