Hello,

I have a Polycom HDX 9002, I recently had a multipoint conference call where the multipoint server was an RMX (I believe) bridge.

Initially we couldn't establish a connection and we only managed to get one way video. The bridge operator then told me that the unit is 'trying to force H.26x' for some reason,  then he tried H.26y and it was working fine.

I was wondering whether this was possible during point to point calls as a last resort when a call is failing.

Thanks

BM3000

This is called "Diagnostic Mode" and is mentioned for troubleshooting.

The hdx uses only g.711 and H.261.

Thanks. So it's either that or the normal mode, there isn't an option to go through various protocols manually, just one or the other?
