Good day,
We are a regional enitity using the following Polycom solution for web-conferencing across 6 locations in Asia Pacific but we only get to see 4 instead of 5 other locations excluding our own area.
Country A: Polycom HDX 9004
Country B/C/D/E: VSX 6000
Country F: VSX 7000
Why is this so? Is there a technical design constraint?
Many Thanks.

Hello,
It sounds like you are hosting a multi point call using discussion mode. Now discussion mode will only show 4 sites at a time. The only option you would have to make more sites show up is to use a bridge like the RMX. Then you can control the layout to show the sites.

Hi all,
In the 6 point conference, one of the region kept getting disconnected when the other five joined or begin the conference.
The connection detail of that region is as followed below:
Internet bandwidth of 4 Mbps shared with common office application other applications like Outlook Exchange, MAIN21 .
Can I know what is the minimum bandwidth required to conduct a mulit-point conference for Standard Definition Conference and High Definition Conference so I advise the users accordingly?
The affection region is thinking of increasing the common internet bandwidth or get a dedicated line for web-conferencing. The information will be critical for us to accertain what is the minimum bandwidth required should they want to get a dedicated line.
Thank you for your help.

The lowest connection speed anyone can use is 56 kbps. Now the site hosting the MP call has to have enough bandwidth to support each connection at that speed. So if they can they could try going to 128 or 256 kbps if they are not the host of the call.
