Hello,
I was hoping to find some help with a mouse and video issue while using our Polycom. It is a VSX 8000.
The issue only occurs when video is output through the Polycom units in Videoconference>Room PC mode. If you select Presentation>Room PC mode there is no issue. The video issues are:
- LCD TV – The video size is off, the outermost borders are cutoff. The actual video being served to the TV is missing data. Mouse tracking is very jerky and skips.
- Overhead Projector – The mouse tracking is very jerky and skips. There is some slight video cutoff as well.
Any help provided is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff

There is a slight delay when using a mouse in a presentation. Be sure the VSX is running the latest software available on our website. What you are seeing during a call is what is being sent to the far end and reflected back to the near end, the delay in a network can amplify the slight delay which is a result of processing power. Workarounds that have proven effective: 1. Use system in dual-display configuration 2. Put PC and VSX on separate projector inputs 3. Use a VGA switch to switch the PC or VSX input to the projector.
