Hi,

It seems to me that the way of moving a camera through the API is very limited. Using "camera near move left" and "camera near move stop" some time later is simply not enough.

Isn't there a way to send a camera to a specific PTZ position? Or to rotate a camera by a specific angle in a specific axis?

Thanks,

Pedro

Thanks for your reply, Ovg.

The use of presets implies that I have presets for all the positions that I want to go to, that I know which preset is which, that no one has messed with my presets, and that no one has moved the camera from its position.

I'm wishing that Polycom has some undocumented API that allows commands like "camera near move pan +10", "camera near move tilt -5", etc. They need this kind of relative precision movement to support Director.

Moving a camera using time as a reference is very limited.

Rgrds,

Pedro
