Hello Polycom Community,

 

I recently purchased a Polycom 7000e. Unfortunately the seller did not know the admin password (not the serial number) to the unit. I have tried booting the unit to the "Boot UI" and reinstalling the software version with the .exe file but its still asking for a password. Question: is there another way around the in resetting the unit?

 

FYI - the unit is in static ip mode

Take a look at the discussion >>> here <<<. It's just the way to bypass the forgotten password. I guess that you are asked not for password but for the license key (U-key).
