If I start a video call from a Lync Client 2013 to another Lync Client 2013 with a Polycom CX5500 device, then I am only able to see the active speaker video and no panoramic video. But when I stop and start the Video on the Lync Client 2013 with the Polycom device, then I can see both videos.

But if I start the Video Call from the Lync Client with the Polycom, then I can see the active speaker video and the panoramic video.

With the version 1.1.2.1.0 I had the same problem.

Hello NCC2015,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Are you using the original wiring between the CX5500 camera and the PC ?

What type of PC are you using and are you utilizing a USB 3.0 port ?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi Steffen Baier,

Thank you for your fast answer!

I am using the original wiring between the cx5500 and the PC.

The PC is a HP EliteBook 840 G1 with the OS Windows 8.1. The PC has only USB 3.0 Ports.

Can I connect polycom sound station 2 to CX5500?

HP Recommended

Hello Nagendra,

The Polycom SoundStation 2 is an analog device. There is no connectivity between a CX5500 and an analog SoundStation 2.
