We have 4 HDX 7000 units across 4 sites. They use H323 to communicate over the network with no firewalls in between.

The units are using 3.0.3.1 and communicate via a CMA4000 system (6.0.1).

When HDX A communicates with HDX B, A can see and hear B but B can only hear not see A.

If B however communicates with HDX C or D, it works fine.

If A communicates with HDX C or D, it's also fine.

During the call between A and B, the CMA shows Call Info for HDX B under Video Format - TX (with data) but RX shows --. The Call Info for HDX A shows data for both TX and RX.

Anyone know why this might occur for calls just between these 2 units?

Thanks in advance.

It looks like HDX B is using Video Protocol (Rx) H.264 but HDX A is sending it as H.264-HP.

Anyway I can change this, please?

CAPS exchange should be setting up the codec to communicate in such a way as it will have video and audio.

You can set the endpoint to use Basic (Diagnostics) mode to test with.

On your stats page what is the packets showing?

Generally when you have one-way audio it is due to a firewall somewhere in the path blocking the video.
