Hi

I have an issue with 2 soundsructures and 4 separate golf ball ceiling mic arrays

When any of the microphones are connected with any of their cables to either sound structure i get no level showing on input after adding the mic channels in.  I also get no output level or sound once routed to an output channel in the matrix.

The microphones are shown as connected in the Wiring Config tab, and if you connect a second microphone the number detected increases.

this problem is present regardless of which microphone ,cable, or sound strucuture i use from the selection i have.

any ideas?

Ran this past a couple of folks, they are speculating that the cabling you are using is not Polycom cables and that they are not pinned out properly.

Please refer to the documentation for the right pinouts, this is NOT standard 568 wiring schemes.

Thank you for the reply

the cabling i am using are the cables that come in the polycom boxes, same cables i have used countless times before and all 4 of them give the same behaviour?

Hello Lee Sharp Cinos,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I suggest you provide a few more details in regards of Software versions involved but may have to open a case with Polycom support via your Polycom reseller so we can look at the logs etc.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
