We installed m100 software and able to see and hear sample Polycom sites, as well to see ourselves in PIP, mute our microfone, control far end camera - seems to be working fine.

When placing call to our actual contact our video and microfone are switching off at that moment. We can see and hear the other party but can not transmit anything.

When call is ended the camera comes back on automatically.

 

Any suggestions?

Your contact might be behind a firewall or have your NAT setup incorrectly.  Our test sites are setup on public IP's so there should be no problem connecting, Is your far site on a public or private IP?

Just got a message back from the client - it was their firewall which was shutting our camera down.

Why wopuld Polycom numbers work, but not other tests that I have run?  the speaker symbol just appears on the screen where the video should be
