Thanks for the link.  I will dig and see if I even have the 6 pin to 4 pin cables.  It would not surprise me if this was fried 3 years ago and it has sat since then.

Found the old  4 pin to 4 pin and 4 pin to 6 pin and neither setup with or without the concert worked.  I think I just have a bad audio input port.
