I am trying to make changes to the configuration of one of our units via HTTP.  I can access the unit and can log in using an admin password.  I can access the pages where I need to make changes and I can type them in.  However, when I click update, the unit reboots without saving the changes.

The only settings that seem to relate are the "Security Settings" and the "Password Settings".

Security Settings:

Minimum

Use Room PW for Remote Access

Admin ID is set

Enable Remote Access (all are checked)

Web access port is 80

AES is off and

NTLM version is AUTO

Password Settings:

All are off

Changes can be saved when made locally with the remote control, but  I really need to be able to make changes from the other side of the planet.

Hi there 🙂

can we have some more details:

  • Software Version on the hdx
  • What kind of browser are you using (IE, FF, Chrome etc.) ?

HP Recommended

I'm using software Release - 3.0.1-10628 in the Polycom and IE 8.0.

I would try to reset the machine to factory defaults and then enter all details again.

Not the easiest solution, but hopefully working.

Consider upgrading your machine to the latest software release (3.0.4, which can be found here).
