I have just started using Realpresence Desktop to videoconference with a Tandberg model. The video which I receive is very distorted by large square pixels making it impossible to see participants. The videoconference takes place between rooms in the same building, on the same network with the firewall disabled. Sound is fine. Anyone know how to sort this out? Thanks.

Sounds like your network is loosing packets.  With any interactive technology, like VoIP or video conferencing, you should have priority set which allows it to flow through the network faster than other traffic.  Check with your network administrator to see the type and priority setting your network uses.

Thank you Stephen. I have also tried videoconferencing with a remote site and although the participants at that site can see and hear me, I can only hear them. Does this sound like a network issue to you too? Does Polycom Realpresence Desktop default to voice only if the network is too busy to accommodate stable video? Thank you again for your assistance.
