We have a large network of Polycom HDX endpoints. These register with a cluster of 4 Cisco VCS Gatekeepers and have a GDS directory pushed out to the endpoints via Cisco TMS.

The problem we are having is with the "Recent Calls" feature on the HDX endpoints. What happens is when one endpoint calls other, the Gatekeeper IP address ends up in the Recent Calls list rather than the actual E.164 number of the destination endpoint.

After digging around in the HDX log files, the following line appears as clear as day:

DEBUG avc: pc[0] H323Call[0]: Replace destination address with xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

The obsuscated address is the IP of the primary Gatekeeper in the cluster. If anyone has any insight into why this is happening and how to fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

We are using TMS 13.1.2 and X5.1.1 on the VCS Cluster. The issue occurs as reliably as clockwork.

Any other idea would be most appreciated!

Hi AV2013

In my system the "Recent Calls" feature works correctly.

I use VCS X7.2.1 and HDXs 3.0.Х.

You can try upgrade your HDXs.

And of course, you're using old VCS software.
