Polycom HDX 7000 HD - reboot problem

Hi all,

I have Polycom HDX 7000 HD it get reboots on start-up. After power-on, HDX displays Polycom boot logo for several minutes & then reboots, and then Polycom boot logo appears again, and so on. After  5- 6 auto reboots, HDX displays software upgrade screen & gets the process completed successfully ,but after restart same issue occur again (auto restart). I tried to upgrade the firmware but the machine is not detected USB drive i guess. Please help.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Its always useful to include some kind of history on a device that is no longer working.


  • Is this the first time the device has done this and was it working fine prior to this?
  • Is this a new device or an older device?
  • Was this unit connected to the public internet and was any firewall in front of the unit?
