We have the HDX 7000.  It works fine with ISDN.

Now I converted to IP and try to connect to another Polycom QDX 6000.

Both 2 Polycom is the same network, 30 yards apart.  No firewall between them.

As soon as I enter the IP address from HDX 7000.  The message "Network Resource Unvailable"

I can ping both Polycoms and am able to connect to the HDX 7000 to copy its profile to my Mac.

What did I miss in here?  Thank ahead.

Hello Thang,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Hello Thang,

I suggest you upgrade to the latest supported software version 2.6.1.3 and then try again.

Next steps are a wireshark trace to check the traffic and/or looking at the logs. You may also want to try and use something like RealPresence Desktop to call to.

Found the answer.

When I ping these 2 Polycoms.  From QDX 6000 to HDX 7000, I saw this message

H.323 is not reachable

SIP is not reachable.

Could not turn on the H.323 from the screen menu.  Had to turn both of them on from my PC.  Soon as I turned on, it works.
