Polycom HDX 7000 Used as a VoIP Phone

Hi,

Please forgive me if this sounds like a doozy of a question but I'm new to VoIP solutions and Polycom kit. We have a Polycom HDX 7000 with a HDX Microphone Array Mic Pod and EagleEye Camera . Is it possible to use this setup make and receive VoIP calls (no video)?

I've noticed that there is a Polycom IP 7000 PoE Conference phone which would suit the task but I was wondering if we can achive this without the use and outlay for the Conferance phone, ie just by using the HDX web interface.

Thanks in advance.

Hello bikerben,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The HDX does support a SIP registration so yes you can make SIP calls.
