We have Polycom HDX 8000 systems (2 at my location, 1 at our Iowa office) we use for video conferences.

 

Our holdings company in Berlin Germany uses a PC based system called PlaceCam 3 (http://www.placecam.com/) .  To date we have not been able to successfully call them or have them call us.

 

Its a long shot but we were hoping perhaps someone else using PolyCom may have had some experience with their product and offer some tips?

 

We have not gotten any meaningful help from their support people.

HP Recommended

IMHO you have no chance to make calls to this system. Although it is declared that Placecam supportes SIP but the way to connect the SIP devices (e.g. Polycom ones) is not described in the docs.
