I have Polycom HDX 8000 and I am trying to make a encrypted call to it from another Polycom HDX 8000. I have SIP Protocol configured as "TLS" and AES Encryption set to "When Available"
However, on debuggin I realized that Polycom HDX doesn't listen on port 5061 and sends error 111 (Connection Refused) when a TLS call is attempted .
Does the Polycom HDX 8000 accept connections on port 5061 ?
Hello @sagarjoshi,
welcome back to the Polycom community.
Some or a couple of your old post(s) => here <= are still open / pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution" or at least provided some form of feedback or answer.
If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.
Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate ?
If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilise the community more efficiently.
For your new issue it is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .
In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier

Apologies for missing on the information .
Polycom HDX 8000
Release - 3.1.12-54021
Please let me know if more information is required?
Hello @sagarjoshi,
providing the minimum required information should be part of every new post so thank you for following this up.
Other than that you have not provided much more details as what kind of server you are trying, maybe a backup or configuration used or any logs or a wireshark trace.
People will respond to posts when they see fit and if you require official support please open a ticket via your Polycom reseller.
Best regards
Steffen Baier
I think I mentioned before I am trying a call between two Polycom HDX 800 units. There is wireshark trace as I am getting Connection refused error. Even a simple telnet to ip on port 5061 is giving an "Connection Refused" error 111 .
