Hi,

 

I have a Polycom HDX 7000 HD with Software version 3.1.0. From past few days it is restarting frequently when its in call. The error log shows the following:

 

CRITICAL watchdogd: proc 5 not responding

CRITICAL watchdogd: proc 4 not responding

 

. Kindly help.

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Under what circumstances does this issue occur ?

 

  • HDX to HDX call?
    Content shared?

  • HDX to RMX call?
    Content shared?

  • Call speed ?
    H.323 or SIP/LYNC/ISDN?

I would suggest, once you gather the relevant data, you contact your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support.

 

You may want to quote VIDESC-9523 as the error message sounds familiar but more details are needed to verify if this is a issue that possibly came up before or a new issue.

I have same problem when connected through RMX..

I have a Polycom HDX 7000 HD with Software version Release - 3.1.2-35267 From past few days it is restarting frequently when its in call and we start content sharing as well. The error log shows the following:

Firstly, you are not using the currently latest 3.1.4 Software.

 

Secondly I can only reply with what I did to the previous poster.

 

Under what circumstances does this issue occur ?

I am also having same problem ,this is happening when connected to a call with or without RMX ,software upgraded ,ERFL done,sometimes getting temperature warning .

 

This problem is mainly happeniing when sharing the content.
