Hello Iorusqus,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Your server is most likely setup incorrectly.

The first file the system will attempt to get is /rseries/info.txt, followed by /rseries/platform/current/release.sig and /rseries/platform/current/release.txt

Can you verify that these files are on the server ?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello Dear Steffen. Thank you for you prompt response on my question.

I have updated this POlycom via USB.

But can possibility to test on another RPG500. Because I will purchase several RPG500 this month and will need update via WWW server.

When I put the server address "10.202.201.36/bso" on the update section, should be displays like on the screenshot "P1"? The "polycom-gseries-release-5.1.2-320034.tar" shoud be unziped or this directory should contain only one file with *.tar file with firmware?
When the www server contain any files I see an error like on screenshot "P2.jpg"

Hello Iorusqus,

Apart from the protocol missing this looks ok. The files must be unzipped into the rseries sub directory.

You would only specify the root directory and the GroupSeries knows to look inside the rseries subdirectory.

hello, I have found the reason. My mistake.

According to the documentation:

To set up your web server as the update site: 1 Make sure that your server allows clients to download files with the following extensions:  .plcm  .txt  .sig

IIS 8.0 is not allow download .plcm and .sig. I have enable and fixed the server name for upgrade from IP_address to http://IP_address.

Now is working fine. Thank you!

Nikolay.
