Situation:

Polycom unit located on internal network

Users connected to Lync 2010 Conference that has Audio and video

Users are internal and external users

External Users experience the video freezing up to 20 seconds.

Audio is not affected.

Internal users do not experience the issue.

Testing with a laptop cam or desktop cam does not present the same issue, only when the Polycom's are used.

Changing the network speed from 1024 to 512 reduces the freeze time but it still occurs.

So far we can't find anything in the firewalls, routers, or Lync system that is indicating an issue.

This happens on all three units we tested.

Any ideas what more to check?

One other observation:

If someone that is far away from the camera moves, no movement is detected\shown to the viewing audience.

If someone very close to the camera moves, the internally connected users see it immediately.  The external users see it after an approximately 8 second delay.
