Hi everyone,

I´m working with Polycom RealPresence Desktop video client and I need some help 🙂

We have develop a software with several integrations, and one of them is with Polycom products. Our software has a list of contacts, and we would like to call to this contacts with Polycom RPD, but we would like to start and finish the call from our software.

Now, we can start the call automatically from our software, starting Polycom RPD with several params, but we can´t hang up the call...and if we kill the process directly (yes, i know...it´s horrifying)...Polycom RPD doesn´t work properly the next time that we start it.

Someone knows if it´s possible....and how we can hang up a call from another external software?

Thanks so much.

David.

Hello David,

I spoke to product management and there is currently no API or external control for either the RPD or RPM.

Please work with your Polycom reseller to present a businesses case in order to add future support for such features.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
