We just installed 7 HDX 7000 systems using LG TV's as monitors.

Is there a way to program the Polycom remote to turn the monitors on/off?

Hi y_me,

Unfortunately the Polycom remote can not be used as a universal remote to non-Polycom systems, other than VCR,DVD,or PVR devices.

If you notice the remote does not have any device buttons on it, such as with a universal remote which has a button for TV, Cable, VCR, DVD, etc.

If you wish to use the Polycom remote to control a VCR, DVD, or PVR device the codes can be found in Annex D, page D1 of the attached Administrators guide.

I hope this helps.

Thank You,

Mike

Hi, if you are using HDMI cable, you can enable the HDMI-CEC settings from your device. This will turn-on your LED if you turn on your polycom VC.
