Hello,

I've updated a G300 + Touch Control from 4.1.4 to 4.2.0 by using a web server.

The updated works fine for the G300, but the Touch Control don't work anymore.

I had a message saying that the update is succesfull, but when the try the call or directory button it says "The application Polycom Contacts (process polycom.contacts.polycomcontacts) has stopped unexpectedly. Please ty again.

Thanks for your help

Thomas

Hello Thomas CV,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I can only find a reference to this (GS-15299) on prior software versions and this should not be an issue on the version you are running.

Have you tried factory restoring the PTC yet ?

If the above does not help and re-installing the software maybe from a USB stick does not fix this either please get the logs of the device and open a case with Polycom support via your Polycom reseller and quote GS-15299.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hello Steffen, thanks for your reply,

I will do some test this morning as a factory reset or a downgrade from 4.2.0 to 4.1.5.

I've already opened a case and they told me to reboot the device.

Regards,

Thomas
