Assuming that HDX6000 or 7000 units are both High Profile capable using 512Kbps (+20% overhead) for HD, if you share your desktop (assume a PowerPoint presentation with a high level of content change) is separate video stream started for the shared desktop presentation.

I am trying to determine if the QoS bandwidth needs to cover more than the single 512K High Profile video stream for

 1. A Point to Point VC call.

 2. A multipoint VC via RMX call.

Thanks

Not sure of the question, but H.239 People+Content share the bandwidth of the call.  If the call is 512Kbps then when you share content via H.239 the bandwidth remains at 512Kbps, plus your IP overhead.

The bandwidth allocation is setup in the UI, it can be balanced (50% to each People and Content) or it can prefer one or the other in which case up to 90% of the bandwidth goes to the preferred one (people or content).

When in a call with an MCU such as the RMX the bandwidth does not change but the preference is generally ignored by the MCU.  The total bandwidth will remain what the EP has it set for, i.e. 512Kbps.
