I have a problem with connection to/from RPD / HDX7000

When I call from RPD to HDX7000 I can see the person from RPD (laptop) but they can't see nor hear me.

When I call from HDX7000 to RPD they can hear the ringing sound and incoming call, but they can't press the 'green headphone' and can't answer the phone.

What can be the reason ? How can I check the connection where the RPD is (different city) ? Is there a tool from Polycom that can check whether all the ports are open and the communication is correct ? Please help !!

This is a NAT issue.  You are sitting behind a private non-routable IP address.  The private address you are sending to the HDX cannot be reached from the HDX because it is private.  You will need to register to your corporate gatekeeper.  The RPD does not have configurable NAT.

RPD supports Firewall-NAT traversal in a more sophisticated way, rather than asking customers to manually specify the public IP of SOHO router.

The Firewall-NAT traversal solution requires RPAD, Acme SBC or VBP-ST, but the whole process is transparent to RPD users.
