Recently we integrated a conference room with a RGP 500 and a Dell Optiplex 7010 - with logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. Multiple users and through our testing we agree there is a signifcant delay with mouse performance. We attempted to troubleshoot by using a standard Dell Wired mouse with a bit of improvement, however, it still is not acceptable. I'm attempting to cover all areas as this design is be being deployed to multiple other rooms.

The RGP 500 is running the most current version 4.2.0 - Is the possibily of problem with the End Point? or should we be looking elsewhere? Thanks in advance.

Is this experience both in a call (sharing content) or out of a call and using it to display the content.

How is it connected, HDMI, VGA or P+C IP?

HP Recommended

Problem is experienced both in and out of calls.

From Optiplex 7010 via HDMI to Extron HDMI Sw2 switcher to Codec

From Real Group Presence 500 it then goes from output 1 to a Crestron DM-TX-201-C then to a Crestron DM-RMC-Scaler-C finally making its way to to the Display.

Over the weekend we were able to reduce the problem a bit by putting the display into gaming mode.

I think though we've pinned it down that all of the digital devices are adding just enough delay to create the problem, its probably about 250ms - which is rather annyoing.

Wondering if this issue was resolved. We are noticing that once the latency is above 50ms it becomes noticeable and hard to use.
