Just installed the Real Presence Trial, all appears working but no picture from Camera.  The camera works OK outside of Real Presence.  Operating system is Windows Vista camera is Microsoft Life-Cam NX-6000.  Real Presence recognises the camera but the screen is black.

 

I have not yet attempted to connect to a remote location but I am assuming that I should be able to see my image?

Hello ,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The release notes only list:

 

  • Windows XP: 32-bit with Service Pack 3 or later
  • Windows 7: 32-bit and 64-bit
  • Windows 8 Standard, Pro, and Enterprise: 32-bit and 64-bit

So the issue you are seeing may be caused by the non officially supported operating system.

So that didn't work either.  It looks like the Microsoft NX-6000 USB camera does not work with this application. Tried both Windows 8 and Windows 7 - on both systems the camera worked just fine outside of Real Presence.

It works with a simple Laptop camera though (BisonCam NB Pro) that will do fpr now.

No problem we have an HDX 6000 system on its way.
