Hello,

This is something that has just started.

We run an old CMA4000 with 100 licenses. Some of these licesnses are reserved for staff RPD connections.

With any new installs of RPD, we are unable to search the GAB. If we have the IP or number for another device, a call can still be made. We just cannot search for addresses.

In the CMA server, beside the RPD users, we have a warning of Directory not Registered.

We have tried versions 3.7 and down with the same result. We are in the midst of a Win7 to 10 upgrade but this does not seem to be an issue. If we uninstall from a Win7 and re-install, same issue.

We have several RPD installs with no issue, running on Windows 10 right now, but all of these were installed several months ago.

Has a Window upgrade buggered something? Or is this possibly a network issue? We are in the midst of a Cisco switch upgrade. Could some new policy introduced to the network be the cause?

Any thought?

Thanks.

Jeremy

By chance, did you get the message "Connection to LDAP server failed due to network error," under the Contacts tab of the RealPresence Desktop client?

Hi Jeremy,

I am facing the same behavior. And I get the "Connection to LDAP server failed due to network error".

Have you any news or solved the issue?

Thanks

Marco
