We have a GP500 with Lync integration enabled. Our Lync infrastructure is Federated wiht external companies. When I make a call from teh GP500 to an External Lync contact the voice and video are poor. The voice and video are choppy (cut in and out) and the audio is behind the video. I make the same call from a Windows lync client to teh same external contact and the voice and video is much better. The GP500 and Windows computer with Lync client are on the same network and have hte same internet access. Anyone have any ideas why this is so poor when using hte GP500?

Hello arell12,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Firstly the best way to start a post is by including the currently used software version. This gives the community and yourself a chance to look at this information and check the release notes accompanying this version.

In addition are you expanding the receiving video from the far end LYNC user to full screen when replicating the issue?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

The software version that we are running is Release - 4.2.0-11309

We are expanding the Lync video to full screen when when usinghte computer. The computer is actually connected to the same TV that the Group500 is.
