We are trying to set up our real presence 500 to use Office 365 Skype, everything appears OK up unitl the "Directory Servers" Registration, which simply does not register. I have tried using domain.tld, domain.onmicrosoft.com neither works. Is there something that needs to be done on the Office 365 side to get this to work, or odd FW  ports (inbound) that need to be opened?

HP Recommended

Set Server Type to Microsoft. Enter the domain name for your organization that matches the domain you configured Skype for.

Be aware that sometimes the registration status doesn't update right away. So, even if you have it right, you might need to browse around in the UI, refresh, or even reboot the machine before it properly reports the registration status. I haven't had to reboot, but this thing is picky and often does require a reboot to get it to properly reflect settings changes.

Hi,

Could you pls tell me? Can the codec  group 500 (with Russian firmware) participate in the conferences of SF 365? In the Russian firmware, encryption is disabled, so AVMCU is not available. But I do not understand this well and do not know if the codec can participate in the VMR of Sfb 365 without AVMCU or not?

Tnanks.

Hello Gazizov Marat ,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Yes a GroupSeries with a Russian SKU can participate in Office 365 calls if Encryption on the O365 side is set to support encryption.

If the setting is require encryption then the GroupSeries is unable to participate. I suggest you work with Microsoft support on this.

Hello Andy Lee,

In order for us to look at this you need to open a support ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you. End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.
