I've installed the Polycom mobile app from the app store on an iPad 2. When I call any of our VSX 7000's, it works fine. When I call any of our HDX 8000's, I have no video from the HDX 8000, and the camera buttons on the iPad are grayed out. After about 10 seconds, the iPad screen just shows a speaker icon. Audio works fine.

Found it. If I uncheck the H.239 box on the 'call preference' page, it works. I don't know why it works with that box checked on a VSX 7000 but not on the HDX 8000 though.

Could it be that the HDX video requires flash player?  Just a guess.  If so, the Ipad does not support flash player as yet.

I'm using the iPad version and am having the same problem.  Can you tell me how you got to the "call preferences" page?  I can't find anything like that...
