We have an issue with our HDX 7000 series when receiving an IP video call from outside our (internal) network. At first, our issue was that when receiving a call from outside, using RealPresence Mobile, we could hear and see the far end on the HDX 7000, but the far end can not hear nor see us on the RealPresence Mobile. After upgrading the system software from 'Release - 3.0.0.1-14006' to 'Release - 3.0.5.1-26049' we were able to receive audio on the RealPresence Mobile, but still no video. 

 

Now we would like to know if this issue would be resolved by upgrading our system software to the latest version 3.1.0 or is the problem related to something else.

Hello earthling,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The issue is caused by your firewall or a firewall / network restriction on the RPM end.

 

There are plenty of posts covering the relevant ports that need to be opened.
