I've got a VSX 7000 and a laptop with RealPresence running on the switch* ports of my Verizon cable modem and when I try to ping from my VSX 7000 diagnostic tool it fails and states "IP address 192.168.1.8 is not H.323 enabled". I checked my RealPresence settings and H.323 is enabled.

*unfortunately my laptop has no NIC card, so I'm connecting wirelessly to the Verizon Cable Modem, and my VSX 7000 is connected to a physical LAN port on the same Verizon Cable Modem.

Anybody know why the ping with H.323 would fail?

Thanks, Brett
