We are trying to register Poly X-30 running ZoomRoom application (for ZoomRoom personal) with pairing code generated by ZoomRoom application running on Poly X30 (software 3.2.2.226104). The issue is the pairing code generated by ZoomRoom application running on Poly X30 is not valid for ZoomGov (zoomgov.com/pair).

We know that there is an option to signin into Zoom with username/password, but after implementing SSO with Okta and ZoomGov, we are not allowed to grant an exception from SSO Signin, which is currently not supported by ZoomRoom application.

Hello @avshch ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

All questions regarding the Zoom Room application running on the Studio X30 need to be answered by Zoom support.

We cannot answer what they support and whatnot. Once the Studio X30 runs in Zoom mode their own Android application is running.

Zoom advised me to reach out to POC designed to Zoom to Poly partnership as this request has to be raised from Poly side. I don't have the contact info for this person.

As a result I'm not able to use Poly product in combination with Zoom for Goverment.

Hello @avshch ,

I am unsure why Zoom is choosing this route but your next step would be to work with your Poly reseller to get this into support.

Hello Steffen,

Unfortunately, there are issues with Poly distribution partners as well. We bought Poly X30s from CDWG and even them don't have solid POC from Poly to address the issues with the devices.

This forces us to limit Poly X30/X50s deployment for ZoomGov.

Thanks,

We too are a zoomgov customer and I've purchased all of my Studio X devices and Trio C60s from CDW and as a result I am able to open a ticket directly with Poly. Previously we purchased our Trios from a local reseller and every time I had an issue I would have to work through them which only delayed the process overall.

If you haven't already done so or tried; create yourself an account, enter the X30 serial number and it will tell you if you can open a ticket or not.

Hope this helps.
