In a client where we have integrated a GROUP 500 codec into your SKYPE FOR BUSINESS and have the following inconvenience with sending content:
• When a Skype user from a laptop wants to share a desktop or share a document, the request does not reach the GROUP and the codec does not receive the content, and the user appears as if the codec has rejected the request sent.
• When we want to send content from the codec, this is sent as a video but not as content.
there will be some additional configuration that has to be done in the codec

Hello @sldt,
welcome back to the Polycom community.
Some or a couple of your old post(s) => here <= are still open / pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution" or at least provided some form of feedback or answer.
If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.
Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate ?
If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilise the community more efficiently.
In addition it is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
If Skype for Business please provide Version details and if these are on premise of off premise
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .
In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.
Additional questions are:
- Does your customer have a Skype for Business license ?
- Did you ensure all the relevant ports are open ?
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier
