Hello,

I would like to confirm if contents as well as videos can be shared while on a video conference meeting between two different locations using poly visual+

Thank you.

Hi @marshall,

depends on the plattform you use with your V+. The Trio does not support content sharing in an active SfB-call. The People & Content app is only capable to share content in the room. Using a Skype for Business client you can share to the Room or into a meeting aka Content shared from a laptop can be shared into the Trio paired with a Visual+/VisualPro just like any other PC or mobile device.

H.323 and SIP should work.

Hello @Marshall

as already verified by @mshu1 using 2x unregistered Poly Trio running UC Software 5.9.2, with a Visual+ calling each other via IP, enables a Video Call.

Simply using the free Poly Content App >here< enables to establish a connection to one of the Trio's and share the local PC or Mac desktop.

For more information, as already outlined in a previous post, contact a local Poly reseller >here<.

Best regards

Id like to add, If you are in a SfB call you should have VBSS enabled in your enterprise as RDP has been deprecated by MS and the ability to send RDP content is no longer an option
