What’s New

RealPresence Group Series system software provides the following functionality:

● Pinning the Active Speaker on the RealPresence Touch Controller
● Notification for Pinned Active Speaker

Pinning the Active Speaker on the RealPresence Touch Controller

You can configure the RealPresence Touch controller so users can pin the active speaker’s video during a call using the star (*) key on the onscreen dialpad.

Note: This function is only available for RealPresence Group Series-hosted MCU calls.

Notification for Pinned Active Speaker

When a user pins an active speaker, the system notifies the far-end that a user has pinned their video as the active speaker. The notification also provides information on how users can change the pinned speaker or deactivate pinned speakers.

Polycom Labs Experimental Features

Polycom may release experimental features during a release that administrators can enable and evaluate in nonproduction environments. 

Experimental features aren’t tested or supported. These features might or might not become official
features in a future release.

The following experimental features are available in this release:

• VisualBoard advanced features
• Incoming NoiseBlock
• Polycom Acoustic Fence with Beam Shaping
• Auto Awake for the Polycom EagleEye Producer camera
• Content Stretch

• Dual live streaming
• Stamping log files
