SoundStation IP 7000 with HDX

I've noticed before I even dial anyone, if dial the number first then hit the "green" phone, then pick phone instead of video, it starts calling. If I press phone, then dial my cell number (1234567890), I can dial 123456789, then dial tone kicks in, once I hit 9, nothing happens. If I press "phone" and dial my internal ext, nothing happens whether I press the green button, or the dial button. We cannot make conference calls because of this. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Is the SSIP7000 registered to a SIP server or is it a HDX Microphone extension only?
