TC8 web interface

I am requesting that a feature request be made where you could virtually connect to the Device's TC8, similar to Crestron Xpanel.

 

Our organization has quite a number of X30 and X50 units throughout. We get a lot of tech calls regarding issues going into "Device Mode", as when they connect their laptops they are automatically routed into "Content Sharing". Understanding that many users will assume they are directly brought into the correct mode when they see their screen displayed on the monitor, and that they physically have to exit Content mode to "ungrey" Device mode and select it. Educating the users is important on our end, but if they urgently need a solution, I believe that I am currently unable to provide one.

This community is not the right medium for a feature request.

 

This needs to come via your Poly reseller or your Poly sales contact with a business plan outlining what the lack of this feature means to your organization.

 

EDIT: You may want to look at the REST API so your team can interact with the room rather than physically go there. Check >here<
