Hi,

We have just installed two new Group 500 systems in our company, and so far they seems to work perfect. Both are upgraded to latest SW 5.1.2. One issue though I'm not able to figure out is how to turn off the camera when the system is used for local meetings only.

I have a setup with two 55'' Samsung monitors and by default the Polycom menu and clock is shown on the left monitor. When a PC is connected and content is shared, the camera is still on and present in the lower left corner of the left mionitor. The shared content is displayed on both monitors. I'm able to disable to camera which turns off the live video, but the blue picture is still there and taking up 30% of the left monitor.

How can this be turned off when the system is not in a video call?

Look in the Administrator's Guide for Self-View controls.  You need to set that differently.

Thanks for your reply. I found the setting "Automatic Self View Control" under

Admin Settings->System Settings->Call settings. When disabling this I'm able to turn off the self-view on the panel. So that's great.

What would have been even more great was if I could choose selv-view to be disabled in Presentation mode only, and always enabled in Video Calls.

Understand your use case.

Since this is not something the system currently does it would require and update to the feature set.  Please work with your Polycom sales team to raise a Feature Request for this.

The self view control does not work with monitor 2 is enabled.

Please advise what to do with a dual monitor setup on group 500, how to hide the self view camera window when I select the content button on the home screen.
