Hi - working on a design for a visualization lab and trying to find out if I need to dump both HDMI outputs into the routing swticher.

So the question is, if I connect a monitor to each of the HDMI outputs of a RPG 500 series unit (1080p) what will i see? Is it just near and far side (we will have the multipoint bridge upgrade). Is it menu driven and if so what are the options?

Inquiring minds want to know..

Jim

Hello evansj2

What you will see on monitors depends on the settings which you choose.

please take a look at Polycom RealPresence Group Series Administrator Guide 4.1.3 page 40 (Monitor Profiles)

+ about Multipoint Viewing Mode on page 76.

Regards

Do not get caught out like I did with heaps of VSX/HDX experience.  Irrespective of RPG MP setting "Discussion Mode" you can still chose Layout from the hand held remote.  A bit like being an RNX VMR admin.  Cool feature.
