Unable to share content on HDX 4000

I am using HDX 4000 model. Some times before, i had to factory reset my unit. since then, I am not able share content through PC. When I press content button on keypad, it is showing content  for few seconds and then error message comes saying 'No VGA signals can be detected'

I have also checked VGA port connection and tried replacing VGA cable but nothing seems to work.

Can anybody please suggest about possible workaround?Should i change the PC from which i am sharing the content or is there any issue with my VC unit's VGA port.

Thanks in advance

Re: Unable to share content on HDX 4000

Hello A regular visitor,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First"

A couple of questions:

  • Did this work using the same PC and/or cable without making any OS changes to the PC prior to the factory default?
  • Have you tried a different PC?
  • Is this unit running the latest available software?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
