Hello, everyone. I want to ask if I can use the AC adapter power supply from the VSX 5000 on a VSX 7000s. I understand that I lose H.320 on the VSX 7000s if I bypass the subwoofer and I am completely fine with that.

 

I see both require 24v 3a supplies with the proprietary Polycom 10-pin connector, so I am assuming it is okay to connect.

 

Can anyone tell me for sure, please?

Yes. it is the same power supply.

Is this particular power supply still available for purchase, either new or refurb?   I have a VSX 7000 and the subwoofer has apparently failed and doesn't supply power to the main camera unit.  I'd like to bypass it and just power with a VSX 5000 power cable.
