Is there a way to use a telnet command to do a profile backup of an HDX unit?

If we are talking about Port 24 (the control port on a HDX), then you can use the following.

exportprofile -  Exports system and user profile information in a CSV format. The output is

available through a telnet or serial port connection.

importprofile - Imports system and user profile information in a CSV format. The input is

submitted through the telnet or serial port.

These are furthur documented in the Polycom HDX Intergraters Reference manual available on the Polycom Support site.

Thanks Gary!  I read through the API commands and somehow missed that one...

Just make sure to disable the Telnet ports afterwards..... [grin]
