HI we currently have a VSX 7000 and we are using a pri line. But when we call using 256kbps call is getting connected but when we increase it to higher than 256 it does not connect.

Would there be any configuration on the device required?

Is there any line problem?

Hi,

This issue my be endpoint related or network infrastructure related.

Endpoint related: you can determine the speed and protocol you would like to make the call with from the dialling page on the vsx.

If you are already doing this and the call keeps down speeding then it is infrastruture related.

Are you also registered to a gatekeeper and having to use a isdn gateway to make the call.

Understanding our deployment and calling scenario in a bit more detail will help greatly to assist.

Feel free to drop me an email (irfan@interlinkvision) if you need to carry out a test call to a manned video helpdesk on isdn
