We have a VSX 7000A (128) running software release 188.8.131.52 07May2009 09:06.
During a call, the system sometimes beeps twice and switches off unexpectedly. This has happened 3 times within the past two days.
I confirmed that the system is free of dust, is well ventilated, and that the connections are good.
I plan to upgrade the software to the latest version tomorrow morning but wondered if anyone knew what the two beeps indicate before the system switches off.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Sounds like a possible hardware failure. Give Polycom Support a call. Find a Support Center nearest you at the below link.
