We have a VSX 7000A, and we are joining conferences that require us to see output from a remote computer. Everyone else in the conference at other sites (that we do not administer) are able to see the video. I am trying to update the firmware, since we are currently running 9.0.5.1. I have tried to install any updates ranging from 9.0.5.2 - 9.0.6.2 and they all say the following:

Softupdate cannot update: VSX 7000APlease download appropriate softupdate from www.polycom.com and try again.

The firmware is downloaded from the polycom website, and they are the correct 7000 firmware. Any input is appreciated.

The type of VSX you have is the VSX 7000s. You will need to use the VSX 7000s software from the support site on your VSX. Also for the content issue try turning off H.239 in Call Preferences.

Hi.

Mine is VSX7000A too.

I'd like to update its firmware (now it has 8.5.3.2), but I'm not sure what file to download. In Support Section, there are only instances for VSX7000, VSX7000S and VSX7000E, none for VSX7000A. Can you tell me which of them is the correct one?

Another question. I have problems to connect with a Cisco SX20 (Tandberg). I can't receive any video, just audio, with H.264. With H.263, it works fine.

Thanks
