I have a VSX 8000. I am putting a new power supply board in it, that I got off ebay.

Unfortuantely when I removed the 6 Pin Connector from the board, I failed to notice that their are 7 pins.

Does anyone know if the connector goes on 1 - 6 or 2 - 7? If you are looking down on the power supply. Orient the board such that the pins are along the right edge, I am calling the bottom pin, Pin 1.

Thanks in advance

Hello Ken,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am not sure how comfortable I feel having discussions in the official Polycom community regarding the repair of a Polycom device using 2nd hand items from unknown sources.

Polycom, like other manufacturers, have a RMA process that should cover out of warranty devices and I would prefer any answers via Community Mail only.

I may remove this post at any time once I discussed this internally.

Polycom nor any poster can be held responsible if the attempt to fix one of our devices by a non qualified person causes any later issues.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
